Key features include:

Mechanical breakdown: Just call your Hino Fiji Roadside Assist operator to arrange for our emergency service to get your vehicle back on the road quickly.

Tyre & wheel change: Wherever possible, a speedy change will be made on the spot using your truck’s original equipment. However, if the spare tyre or wheel combination is not suitable, the services of a tyre specialist may be required. In these situations, any material and labour charges incurred must be paid for at the time. If service is not possible on the spot, the truck will be towed to a suitable site and at costs.

Flat battery: A battery boost is always the preferred solution to get you up and running. However, if the battery is faulty but still under warranty, we will arrange for a replacement to be delivered and installed. New replacement batteries supplied and installed for faulty batteries beyond their warranty period must be paid for at the time of service.

Lockout or lost keys: Please note that the driver may be asked to sign an indemnity form releasing the service person for liability for any damage caused by forced entry. Where necessary Roadside Assist will arrange for a locksmith to gain entry to your truck. Any costs above $50 (including VAT) will be the responsibility of the driver.

Towing & recovery: If you break down in a metropolitan area, the truck will be towed to the nearest Hino Service Centre. Please note that Towing & Recovery for an accident is not covered under the Hino Roadside Assist breakdown service. Towing is available to a maximum value as shown in the table below, commencing from the date of first registration
